Daniel Propp
Daniel Propp is an energy policy expert and freelance writer based in Washington, DC. He was formerly the Senior Special Assistant for Policy at Columbia’s Center on Global Energy Policy. Prior to Columbia, Dan worked as a researcher for Resources for the Future’s ‘Fairness for Workers and Communities in Transition’ project and as a policy analyst for Camco Clean Energy, a clean energy investment firm focused on Sub-Saharan Africa.
Dan’s articles have appeared in Latitude Media, Inside Climate News, Heatmap News, the LA Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Journal of International Affairs, and The Hill. He has a bachelor’s degree in earth science from Dartmouth College and a master’s in energy and environmental policy from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs.
