Anne Bailey is senior story editor for Latitude Media, where she works to shape content across Latitude’s original and partner podcasts. Prior to her time at Latitude, Anne worked as a digital producer for PRX’s The World reporting on women’s issues and the environment from Thailand, Kenya, India, Brazil, Nepal, and Mongolia.
Anne has taught multimedia storytelling at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies, the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, and the Freedom Forum Institute. She was the spring 2017 T. Anthony Pollner distinguished professor of journalism at the University of Montana School of Journalism, where she later founded the Montana Media Lab. Anne has also designed and led two citizen journalism training projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Tunisia and has taught video storytelling in France and Italy.
Anne holds an M.A. in journalism from the University of Montana. Her work has been featured in Slate, PRX’s The World, Pushkin Industries, Deutsche Welle, Roads and Kingdoms, BuzzFeed, News Photographer, Al Jazeera America, Reuters, PBS MediaShift, Montana Magazine, Montana Quarterly and others.
